Online purchasing of tickets, subscriptions, and special tickets does not include pre-sale fees and grants you easier and faster access to the Botanical Garden.

Tickets

Upon buying your ticket online, you will have to choose among preselected dates and time slots. It will not be possible to use tickets for other dates and/or time slots other than those selected during the purchasing process. Tickets must be printed or shown through an electronic device upon entry.

Subscriptions, GIFT tickets and special tickets “Riaperture e ritorni”

The special ticket "Riaperture e ritorni" entitles you to unlimited access to the Botanical Garden until 6th January 2022.  The "Riaperture e ritorni" card is offered at a special price of 15 euros for individuals and 30 euros for families (two adults and up to 3 people under 17 years old).

Individual and family subscriptions entitles you to unlimited access for one year from the issue date.


Extension of subscriptions, GIFT tickets and special tickets "Riaperture e ritorni"

  • Subscriptions and GIFT tickets issued between October and December 2019 are valid until 31st August 2021.
  • Subscriptions and GIFT tickets issued between February and July 2020 are valid until 31st December 2021.
  • Subscriptions and GIFT tickets issued between August and October 2020 are valid until 31st May 2022.
  • Special tickets "Riaperture e ritorni" issued between until 3rd November 2020 are valid until 31st July 2021.

 

Visitor regulations

The Botanical Garden is open from 10am to 7pm Tuesday to Sunday. It is closed on Mondays, except for public holidays.

Access to the garden is limited to 80 visitors for each opening hour and a maximum of 350 people on site at the same time.

The 19th-century greenhouses are closed to the public.

By purchasing the ticket, the visitor accepts the general conditions of access to the gardens, established on the basis of the current national and regional provisions and of the general Protocol for the control and containment of COVID-19 virus drawn up by the University of Padua, which states that all visitors are:

  • to be aware of the measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 currently in force, as well as the related criminal sanctions, including those of false declarations;
  • to be aware of the obligation to stay at home, and the consequent prohibition of access to the Botanical Garden, in the presence of flu like symptoms such as a fever above 37.5° C and of the obligation of informing the personal doctor and the health authority;
  • to be aware that access to the Botanical Garden is prohibited to those who have had contacts with persons who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days;
  • to be aware that access to the Botanical Garden by those who have tested positive for COVID-19 infection must send a medical certification prior to entering the garden which proves to have undergone additional testing with negative result according to the procedures provided for and issued by the competent local prevention department;
  • to be aware that the access to the Botanical Garden is allowed only wearing a mask, where the latter is mandatory both in outdoor and indoor spaces; to be aware of social distancing of at least 1 meter from other visitors will be enforced even during stops and / or waiting periods;
  • to be aware of the obligation to promptly notify the garden surveillance staff if symptoms of illness (e.g. fever, cough) emerge after access, taking care to remain at an adequate distance from the people onsite;
  • to declare with consent to the processing of personal data pursuant to European Regulation EU 2016/679, for the purpose of reserving and issuing an entrance ticket to the Botanical Garden.
