Online purchasing of tickets, season passes, and special tickets do not include presale rights and offer an easier and faster entrance into the Botanical Garden for all visitors.

Reservation and ticket sales can also be made by calling the booking center at 049.8273939 (daily from 9:00 to 17:00 including Saturdays and Sundays).

Entrance tickets

Several ticket options can be purchased online, includingfull-priced, family, and reduced-price tickets of 5 and 8 euros. Proof of eligibility for reduced-price tickets must to be shown to the ticket staff upon entry. All ticket purchases require visitors to preselected specific dates and time slots. It will not be possible to use tickets for alternative dates and/or time slots other than those selected during the purchasing process. Tickets must be printed or shown with the use of an electronic device upon entry.


Subscriptions, gift tickets and the special membership option of “Riaperture e ritorni”

The special membership option of "Riaperture e ritorni" is dedicated to the entire community as a welcoming return after a long lockdown.  This special ticket entitles you to unlimited access to the Botanical Garden until January 6, 2021.  The "Riaperture e ritorni" ticket is offered at a special price of € 15 for individuals and € 30 for families, including a free guided tour for the subscribing individual and a guest while family membership includes a free guided tour for the entire family. Guided tours can be booked on weekends and public holidays starting June 3. The purchase of season tickets will also include free access to Villa Parco Bolasco, in Castelfranco Veneto, which has been awarded one of the most beautiful parks in Italy.

Individual and family memberships as well as GIFT tickets that were, or will be, issued between January 1, 2020 and June 19, 2020 will remain valid until June 20, 2021.

Individual and family season tickets entitles you to unlimited admissions for one year from the date of issue (in the case of the special ticket "Riaperture e ritorni" you have unlimited access to the Botanical Garden until January 6, 2021). For each entrance, the date and the shift of the visit must be booked by calling 049.8273939. In case you show up without having booked, you will be able to access at the first available shift.


General conditions and access

Opening hours of the Botanical Gardens are from 10 to 19:00, Tuesday to Sunday, with closures on Mondays except for Mondays that fall on public holidays.

Access to the garden will be limited to 120 visitors for each opening hour at a maximum of 500 people present at any one time.

During the first fifteen days of its reopening, and as a precaution, neither internal guided tours nor access to external groups accompanied by tour guides will be permitted. Educational workshops and other visitor activities are also temporarily suspended.

Each of the Biodiversity Garden greenhouses will be limited to a maximum of 20 people every 15 minutes (the interactive touchscreens may not be available).

The nineteenth-century greenhouses will remain temporarily closed to the public while the collections housed inside them will be made available along the garden's outdoor space.

Mask must be worn both in closed and open spaces.

Mandatory social distancing of at least 1 meter from other visitors will be enforced.


Online booking and purchase of tickets

By purchasing the ticket, the visitor accepts the general conditions of access to the gardens, established on the basis of the provisions of the Prime Ministerial Decree of May 17, 2020, and of the Order of the President of the Veneto Regional Council no. 48 of May 17, 2020 and subsequent amendments and of the general Protocol for the control and containment of COVID-19 virus drawn up by the University of Padua, which states that all visitors are:

  • to be aware of the measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 currently in force, as well as the related criminal sanctions, including those of false declarations
  • to be aware of the obligation to stay at home, and the consequent prohibition of access to the Botanical Garden, in the presence of flu like symptoms such as a fever above 37.5 ° C, coughing, breathing difficulties, or other symptoms such as the loss or absence of taste or smell
  • to be aware that access to the Botanical Garden is prohibited to those who have had contacts with persons who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • to be aware that access to the Botanical Garden by those who have tested positive for COVID-19 infection must send a medical certification prior to entering the garden which proves to have undergone additional testing with negative result according to the procedures provided for and issued by the competent local prevention department
  • to be aware that on order to access entrance to the Botanical Garden mask must be worn both in closed and open spaces
  • to be aware of social distancing of at least 1 meter from other visitors will be enforced even during stops and / or waiting periods
  • to be aware of the obligation to promptly notify the garden surveillance staff if symptoms of illness (e.g. fever, cough) emerge after access, taking care to remain at an adequate distance from the people onsite.
