Special openings and guided tours during the holiday season 2022

All you need to know for visiting the Botanical Garden before the annual closure

From 8th December the Botanical Garden gets ready for the Christmas season offering free guided tours (included in the admission ticket) held by expert guides. A journey to discover the Renaissance hortus cinctus, where the architectural layout is particularly enhanced during wintertime, and the Biodiversity Garden, where you can experience completely different temperature compared to Padua thanks to the greenhouses that simulate the climatic conditions of the planet’s biomes. The guided tours, lasting 90 minutes, are held from Tuesday to Friday at 3pm and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 11am and 3pm (only at 11am on 24th and 31st December). Friday tours are also available in English. If you wish to join a guided tour, please contact prenotazioni@ortobotanicopd.it or +39 0498273939 (daily from 9am to 5pm).

Throughout the Christmas period you can also visit the exhibition Vincenzo Castella.
